Cost-Effective Mediation
At Low Cost Mediation, we believe in providing a service that helps you get the right result without having to undertake costly legal battles. Our dedicated team will ensure you get the right specialist for your needs at a price that’s much more affordable than expensive legal services.
We can help to resolve disputes without breaking the bank, which for both individuals & businesses can be faster, cheaper and less stressful than court.
Our fees are kept as low as possible so that we can help as many people as possible, as we understand disputes can spiral out of control if not managed effectively.
Our prices are kept transparent, so you know exactly what it costs, with no hidden extras.
Unlike other providers, we do not charge per person rates where 2 people are involved in mediation, so you will always pay for a service that’s cost-effective, and where costs are clear and not multiplied by 2.
Here at Low cost Mediaiton we pride ourselves on offering you a service at a low reduced pricing strucure. It is worth noting that the average cost of family mediation in the UK is approx £140 per person per hour, according to the Family Mediation Council (January 2022), resulting in a minimum fee of £280 per hour + VAT for couples engaged in mediation.
We therefore work to provide a service at an affordable fee. The prices listed below are therefore total for 2 individuals, not per person. A separate fee is only chargeable where there are 2 or more people involved in the sessions as listed below.
We will typically require one payment to be made to us by the individual booking the mediation. However, where parties are in agreement, we can invoice both parties separately upon request.
- We charge a fixed fee of £175 for joint sessions involving 2 individual parties.
- This will typically consist of 30 - 45 minutes with each party to gather information and understand what items need to be resolved.
- This is followed by a joint session lasting approx 45 mins – 1 hour collectively with the parties.
- Approx 30-45 minutes of admin time is needed for planning, liaising with the parties, and communicating to facilitate and arrange sessions.
- These sessions typically required 2-3 hours in total.
- For separate mediation sessions, we charge a fixed fee of £289 involving 2 individual parties.
- This will typically consist of 30 - 45 minutes with each party to gather information and understand what items need to be resolved.
- This is followed by separate sessions lasting approx 45 mins – 1 hour with each party to communicate issues and look at where resolution can be achieved.
- Approx 30-45 minutes of admin time is needed for planning, liaising with the parties, and communicating to facilitate and arrange sessions.
- These sessions typically required 2-3 hours in total.
- For sessions or work where extra time is needed we charge £119 per hour above the fixed fees listed above.
- Where parties have come to an agreement, and require a written document on the agreement points we charge between £139 up to a maximum of £395 depending on the requirement. For specific pricing please contact us in advance.
Alternative Payment via PayPal
Low Cost Mediation also accepts PayPal as an optional method of payment.
Please ensure you make pay the correct amount for the service you are selection, for example, select £175 to make a payment of this amount, and so forth.

Payments through PayPal are protected under the PayPal Payment Protection Scheme.
